Enhancing Life After Brain Injury

A brain injury can happen to anyone at any time. The results can be devastating leaving survivors with physical and cognitive challenges that affect every aspect of their lives. Survivors often cannot live safely alone. They find limited community resources to help them adjust to their new lives, recuperate and rehabilitate. While there is much research into the acute care needs of individuals with brain injury, there is limited research into their long-term care needs.

Supportive Living, Inc. is a non-profit charity established in 1991 with a mission to raise the quality of life for survivors of brain injury, by:

Developing appropriate and affordable housing for brain injury survivors through our residential programs

Creating, implementing and operating life-long physical, cognitive and social wellness programs through the SLI Brain Injury Wellness Center

Fostering and stimulating research aimed at the long term physical, social and cognitive needs of those affected by brain injury through our internships and research programs
