Who is Neuro-Fit for?
Neuro-Fit is for individuals who are stroke survivors, have Parkinson’s Disease, traumatic brain injury and other neurological disorders.
What is the exercise?
It is a customized assisted exercise program with the potential to use weights, recumbent cross-trainers, or slow speed treadmills with harness systems. Routines are tailored to individual needs, considering factors like balance, coordination, and mobility limitations.
How can Neuro-Fit help me?
It can help in multiple ways – physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional:
- Enhance physical function (strength, flexibility, coordination, endurance)
- Focus on balance, gait, and mobility for fall prevention
- Improve cardiovascular health
- Boost memory, attention, and mental well-being

What are the service offerings?
Personal Training
Neuro-Fit offers one-on-one personal training with certified fitness professionals who specialize in exercise to improve neurological health. Exercise routines are tailored to individual needs.
Classes
Another option is a small class model where individuals are assisted by college students, overseen by a Neuro-Fit Supervisor.
Where are you located?
We host classes at our Neuro-Wellness Center in Lexington, as well as the YMCAs in Andover, Beverly, and Marblehead.
